The Sable-Blacks, A Doctor and his wife,
Search for the secret of beauty and life.
Their wish, to always be together,
But who really wants to live... FOREVER?

It is October 31st 1873. Nathaniel Sable-Black, a doctor, is deeply in love with his wife, Lenore, and together they believe that they can find the secret to eternal youth, beauty and life. The Doctor works on various formulas, using the legendary "Book of Ravenskull", discovering blood is an essential part of the formula. Rumours circulate of missing people but most believe these are just local legends, they probably just went on their way.

However, the Doctor makes a small error in the formula which poisons his wife, causing her to pass away. Despite this, he works on, believing that such a formula is close and could bring his wife back.

A strange and mysterious storm comes seemingly from nowhere and the house is struck by lightning, bursting into flames. The Doctor is trapped in the laboratory and eventually succumbs to the fumes and heat. And in death, they are indeed together forever.
